i recently bought a house. Many of my family members including myself, have felt a very weird feeling when we entered the upstairs bedroomI think my new house may have a spirit or ghost, how do i get rid of it serious answers please!?
Try to find out if the spirit is good and needs you for something. If he/she does, help it to move to the other side. If he/she is friendly and wants to stay, let her/him. They may be able to help you in some way, and it WAS there before you! If the spirit is nasty in any way, tell it to GO. Spirits cannot stay in our world uninvited, no matter what the movies portray.I think my new house may have a spirit or ghost, how do i get rid of it serious answers please!?
I'm with al_murazor above me, allow the spirit to stay. I've shared my home of 11 years with 4 spirits whom we occasionally see as well as feel. They're completely benign entities, and we would miss them if they were to leave, they've become like part of the family. Just relax and enjoy your occupant. It can't harm you so there's nothing to fear.
Get the help of a Spirit-filled Christian with the gift of discernment of spirits to help you know really that there is an evil spirit in your house. He is able to get rid of it for you if one is found. Your pastor may be able to get you in touch with someone who is so gifted.
This forum is probably not the proper place to seek help in a case like this. Without three or four pages of background, I couldn't ascertain the source of the problem, natural or supernatural.


My suggestion, contact an Assembly of God minister to consult in your area. (or other Full-Gospel Churches)
I have a friend that been haunted more than once, and her method is this:





When you sense the ghost, just speak out loud to it. Acknowledge it's presence-- that's really what it wants: to be known. Say, ';I know you're here, and that's fine, but we mean you no harm. Please leave me and the members of my household in peace';.





It's very simple, there's no eebie jeebie voo doo, and it's worked for my friend on more than one occasion. She also recommends burning cedar in a house (an old indian tradition, I believe) to cleanse it, but I imagine that that's more theatrics than anything else.





If the ghost gets violent or you feel threatened, you might want to enlist the help of professionals. I wouldn't mess around with the afterlife!

otherwise, buy rue (a plant) and ';brush'; your house with it starting from the bedroom all the way to the main entrance of your house. if you are a believer, pray while doing it. otherwise simply order the spirit: ';go to light';

Sit in the room where the spirit tends to reside the most. Make sure it is very quiet, light a candle and firmly (but nicely) ask the spirit to leave your home. Tell them that they are no longer welcome and that this is now YOUR home. See what happens ;)
If the spirit died there, they might not be able to leave. (I was brought up to believe that your spirit stays where the body dies) If they are not mean and hurt full, leave them be. It's probably hard enough to be dead, let alone getting kicked out of the one place that probably feels safe to them/him/her.
why do you start by wanting to ';get rid of it?';


Think about ';it'; as a harmless, powerless entity trying to attract ANY kind of attention. In it's confusion it seems to it a possible substitute of affection.my suggestion? Leave some cups with water(2or3) in your bedroom and don't feel ashamed to speak to it in a soothing way ';go in peace, leave the kingdom of the living and accept your situation with bliss. That is so easy to do and this is a very serious answer, but you have to try to believe.





Just down load the audio track albaqarah or baqarah chapter in mp3 from the Quran the book of Muslims and just let it play on for a day or so, you will get rid of any ghosts or bad spirits in the house.





Just search internet for mp3 on Islamic sites





Its tested, try it, even if you dont belive in Islam

I actually saw a figure and it was seen by others. This baffled me because I know that their is no in between realm. I consulted an advisor who pointed out this image I saw is a counterfeit spirit...in other words it takes on the physical appearance of one who has past. It is not the spirit of a person who has died. Ghosts of past loved ones do not exist. The mages we see are real but not a true spirit. It is a deception to try to distract people from the truth of eternity. This feeling you have is real and needs to be dealt with from advice of those who understand the truth. Do not pursue advice from someone who believes in a middle realm...they are deceived as well.
Smudging with sage...light a sage stick and go through each room, and also blow the smoke around windows and doorways. and talk nicely to it.





FYI, sage smells like pot. But the advice I am giving you here IS serious, you can look it up on the net. Native Americans use this to purify.
DO: remove items from the attic and rooms up stairs that a demon might bind with. Old Dolls, Painting, crystals, any pagan items, ect鈥?br>

DO: Say a prayer out loud for deliverance. Ask Jesus through his father to remove the burden that has come upon your house. Call upon your God Jehovah and his son Jesus to remove the fallen Angel from your home.

Do Not: recite a single prayer over and over again. Make sure it comes from your heart.
Unless the spirit is malicious, I'd let it be. It will acually increase the property value of the house to the right buyer.
Contact a local parapsychologist, to investigate and diagnose.


Go to your local college or university's psychology department and seek out the parapsychologist. Contact a local minister or priest just have them over for tea, see if they are aware of something.


If all else fails---Run--Run--Run to the hills!
