job first...not much use if you have a house and cannot afford to pay for it cos you don,t have a job
Find a job first, you can always rent a home until you find something suitable to buy.
I am in the same situation. I will relocate in a few months. And I am going to rent a flat first, then look for a job. But I think it all depends how much money you have aside to support yourself for the period you are unemployed. Nevertheless, I would advise you to contact the local job agency to check if it is quite easy to look for a work.

Hey....good question...I live in Detroit, and I'm moving to Charlotte.


Since I have about 150k in the bank, i'm going to buy a simple little house first about 50k, and then move and look for a job.





I think i can survive for a little bit with my loot, but if i didnt have a job, and couldn't find one, i would move into a rooming house or something, re-think your ideas of where you can and can not live, and your possiblities quadruple

2)make sure job works out,rent first


3)Then buy a home if you like the job and the area
Look for a job that will pay for your relocation. If that's not an option, it's a lot easier on the nerves to find the job first.

You should find a new job first. You don't want to pay for mortgage on your house (unless you have very significant savings) while you're unemployed.

if i were you i would look around for a job that you want where it is and whatever. call them if u want the job. if u get it move down wherever you the job is and it will all be good.
