Should all new houses have an exercise room built in? other than pure egotism, why does....?

anyone need a massively spacious bedroom anyway....what are you gonna do..dance in it!





i would rather have a smaller bedroom and a dedicated exercise room, that need not be too wide but just long, so as to fit a bike cross trainer treadmill or whatever else you fancy putting in it.Should all new houses have an exercise room built in? other than pure egotism, why does....?

I get my exercise in the bedroom and a dedicated room for exercise would be redundant.





you can put an exercise machine in almost any room in the house
if you're asking this for American houses then probably shouldn't have the room, it would become the TV room within a short amount of time. Have you ever notice how the majority of the US population spends their time? I'll tell you, definatly not exercising! But normally with healthy people then yes, I would say a room for exercise could be nice if it will be used for that.
all new houses should have, swiming pools, cinema, snooker rooms. rally track, a golf course a full gym and suna.. lol..

An exercise room would be nice, but a big bedroom is also nice esp when your getting ready you need space. I guess you just buy a bigger house and use one of the bedrooms as the exercise room that's an easy way around it !! :)
Yeah go for it if thats what you want. I don't really see the point of a huge bedroom either. Some people like it and more power to them and if you want a smaller one more power to you. Just do whatever you would enjoy most.
Well I cant afford to buy a new house because I live in the south and the pay sucks...If you don't have a college degree you are lucky to make 10-12 dollars an hour. and that is generous for most companies. I live in a trailer and I hardly have enough room for anything. much less an exercise room I guess that is what the YMCA is for.
Good idea, but most houses in London are tiny already. I think there should be more community centres that offer these services. That way we could meet people and have a greater community spirit.
