Apparently it depends on where you are building as to the exact am mount but it seems to be anywhere between 15% and 40%. It doesn't neccesarily have to be ';social'; housing either (although the vast majority are it seems), it just needs to be ';affordable'; and in most cases that seems to mean it is given over as key worker or part buy\part rent housing.
The best thing to do is check the ';affordable housing policy'; for the area you are interested in.In a new housing development, how many are or have to be social housing?
10% unfortunatly for the peaple that buy their own, next door too one of them.
