What did the neighbors bring as a welcoming present? If any. When you moved in to your new house?
The first house I moved into, my neighbor brought a loaf of bread, a can of salt, and a bottle of wine. He said it was tradition. I liked him! He was a great neighbor! When you moved in to your new house?
A bottle of champagne
Yes i got some Green tea bags , kitchen towels and some oranges .....
i was so surprised , but in Japan its a costom to do that .....
Its all receive ...and welcome to this Neighbourhood ....
isnt that a great way to start a friendship and just to make you feel
its ok, feel free .....dont be sad , you gonna love this place .
Only 1 family came over- it was actually before we moved in while we were paiting the whole house. They brought doughnuts, which we thought was super nice! Within a few weeks, their younger son was over playing with my grandson and the little twerp downloaded porn onto my computer! We don't talk to them anymore!
nothing.. a sour face i think.. until now.. i don't know what's their problem anyway..
Not a thing. These Swiss are stoic!I brought them fudge brownies and they looked at me like I was from Mars. Not speaking german didn't help much either. They at least smile a bit now whenever they see me.
Their 24 year old son... ;)
i HAVE NOT SHIFED TO ANYWHERE.
A basket of fruit and friendly conversation.
nothing!!
xxxx
a few brought over their ';welcome to the neighborhood';smiles.but nothing to eat.
Neighbors never bought anything over. But the new home nuilder send a basket of cookies from this great bakery in town, my realtor gave us an INCREDIBLE BBQ Grill and the loan officer sent over a gift card from Pier One for $200. They did not like each other and competed. We Won!!!!
Nothing. I sold my big house and bought a smaller one. Lucky (and I am truly being sarcastic) for me a neighbor has a Bull Mastiff who strolls onto my driveway by the gate and po*ps in the middle of the entrance.
That's what I call the ';Welcome Wagon';!!! And still today that same big dog po*ps in my driveway.
Hah, nothing !
ha!
they almost ate us!
racists!
I think our one neighbor brought over a pumpkin log
